You will oversee a team of information security engineers and analysts and risk management/compliance analysts supporting the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) within the Department of Homeland Security.

You will work closely with the team to establish new policies and metrics, as well as oversee exciting departmental projects.About the Role:The Information Security Services Manager should feel comfortable not only setting expectations for the team but assisting with escalations and onsite tasks as they arise. We are looking for someone who shows initiative and demonstrates excellent customer service and communication skills.

The candidate will be self-directed, organized, and results driven. In this role, the candidate will work as a mentor and teacher, working to identify skills gaps and working to fill them through training and performance improvement.The Information Security Services Manager will:Define and implement effective data security & information security guidelines, procedures, and audits to ensure all information is protected from internal and external threats and vulnerabilities.

This includes data security procedures, disaster recovery, reporting, and business continuity plans that meet state requirements.Document and map the architecture of current security infrastructure and develop the information security roadmap for future improvements.Develop and implement an Incident Reporting and Response System to address security incidents (breaches)Respond to alleged policy violations, or complaints from external/internal parties.

Serve as the program point of contact for information security, and lead investigations.Develop and implement an ongoing risk assessment program targeting information security and privacy matters.Recommend methods for vulnerability detection, patch management verification and remediation, and perform vulnerability testing.

Required Qualifications:Ability to attain DHS EODITIL V4 Foundations certificationBA + 10 years of experience, AA + 12 years of experience, or 16 years of experience5 or more years of experience in a technical people management role8 or more years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT supportExperience managing technicians with varying skill levels and supporting end users remotelyExperience with Vulnerability analysis, red teaming/blue teaming/purple teamingExperience with the various Tanium modules, including but not limited to: Retrieving data using Interact and generating reports.Experience with one or more of the following: Cyber/NIST policy, RMF, mitigation development or implementation required.Professional, customer-oriented, and even-keeled under pressureEffective communicator at all levels, both written and verbalPreferred Qualifications:Security +, CEH, GPEN, OSEP, etc.
