Build the future of data. Join the Snowflake team.We are hiring a Corporate Counsel - Security. This role will play a key role in Legal Security matters and support Snowflake's security incident response, industry certifications, and global cybersecurity compliance.

We are looking for someone up to the challenge of helping to build a world-class security program in a quickly evolving environment. You will be an integral part of the cross-functional team that protects the data entrusted to Snowflake. This role will report to Snowflake's Senior Corporate Counsel - Security and will work closely with Snowflake's Security, Compliance, and Privacy teams.

This role is in-person and is based in either McClean, VA or Dublin, CA. RESPONSIBILITIES Support Snowflake's cross-functional response to security and other data-related incidents in partnership with various internal teams, as well as outside counsel.Assist Snowflake's Security and Compliance teams in maintaining a comprehensive, documented, and well implemented security incident response program, including threat detection, investigation, containment, mitigation, and remediation, that complies with applicable laws.

Support Snowflake's Security Compliance program and advise on its global portfolio of commercial and governmental security certifications to include SOC, ISO, HITRUST, PCI, ITAR, FedRAMP, IRAP, and more. Advise on global cybersecurity requirements and standards in new markets.Monitor emerging cybersecurity policies, standards and regulations.

Support Snowflake's vendor risk management process. Provide general security legal counsel. REQUIREMENTS Strong written and verbal communication skillsMinimum 3+ years of experienceExperience or a general familiarity with U.S.

as well as global cybersecurity laws, regulations, and standards General understanding of SaaS offerings and cloud computing is a plusBA/BS and JD from an accredited law school Attitude that no project is too big or too smallComfort working in an extremely fast-paced environmentSense of humor!The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role: The estimated base salary range for this role is $163,000 - $220,500.Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
