Together, we won't stop!The Sr. Manager, Solution Engineering Specialists (SES) leads a geographically dispersed team that partners with Business Sales to sell T-Mobile for Business products and services by leveraging their strong technical skills, experience, and industry knowledge. SES's engage in pre-sales activities by consulting on customer opportunities to gain an understanding of their business, identify their business challenges, and develop solutions that meet their needs.

The SES team that this Sr. Manager will lead, architects and designs solutions, provides technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, as well as providing answers to customers' technical inquiries. SES's further support Business Sales by reviewing specific customer opportunities and sales funnels.

SES's will keep the Business Sales teams they support apprised of relevant technologies and industry trends. SE's will maintain specialist/expert level knowledge of Private Networks, IoT, MEC, Fixed Wireless Access, consult with customers, SEs, and Sales teams to drive sales and execute on financial targets. Obtain and/or maintain product-specific certifications as required, Understand and present product roadmaps as needed, assist with post-sale support/escalations, maintain a understanding of T-Mobile wireless network and related key technologies.

SES's maintain their technical skills and industry expertise by participating in internal and external training opportunities. SEs also pursue and maintain partner or industry certification as required for their position. The Sr. Manager, Solution Engineering Specialist is a technical leader with solid business acumen, leveraging a technical experience, strategic thinking, communication skills and leadership prowess to successfully build and coach a team that consistently delivers innovative and differentiated solutions for our T-Mobile for Business customers.

Position Responsibilities Supports Pre-sales Activities (including, but not limited to) provide RFP technical input, strategize with sales team to improve Regional/National sales, own customer technical relationships, understanding nuances, and drivers, design and architect services and solutions, uncover opportunities and recommend solutions, partners ability to review and demonstrate product roadmap to customers and sales team.Engaged to for Executive Briefing Center presentations.Identify and develop SES, industry leading talent in the pNET, IoT, FWA and MEC space (Advanced Connectivity)Assist with Go to Market strategy with sales, product, and 3rd party vendors to include 5G Advance Network Solutions supported deployment and sizing.

Assist with training, technical documentation and development for the Solution Engineering and Business Sales organizations.Partner with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Sales Ops, and Care teams to provide feedback, support special projects, and engage in market-level opportunities.Qualifications5+ years' experience in Telecommunications or Cloud/SaaS leadership role.

Proven track record in building and developing successful teams.Success in solution sales, managing internal/external relationships in a matrix environment and technical strategy.2+ years Public cloud, Private Network and/or IoT experience.

Bachelor's degree Required, MS/MBA PreferredPresentation skills are required to convey design benefits to a wide range of audiences.Proven ability work with cross-functional teams; excellent interpersonal skillsExperience working with both technical and non-technical teams to define, scope and prioritize product requirementsStrong analytical and quantitative skills; bias toward making data-based decision and comfortable with analysisExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Techology, CyberSecurity, Engineering or a related field RequiredMasters/Advanced Degree Engineering, MBA, MIS preferredExcellent CommunicatorStrong negotiation, organizational, presentation, financial acumen, written, and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple objectives, tasks and clientsProven impressive ability to find ways over, under, around & through barriers requiredAbility to create focused, collaborative, results-driven teams with internal and external partnersMaintain positive, strong relationships with T-Mobile Solution PartnersAbility to present topics in a clear and concise manner to many levels of technical skill sets and audience sizesNew York Pay Range $193,800 - 262,200Washington Pay Range $189,000 - 266,600California Pay Range $184,100 - 249,100The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed.

The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.

Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
